Blogs from Soldiers

I happened to receive an email the other day from SPC Phil Van Treuren asking me for a link exchange for his blog Camp Katrina. I gladly exchanged links with him and I highly recommend checking out his blog. It focuses on the Katrina recovery mission. Phil is from the Ohio National Guard and has been deployed to help in the recovery effort. It was through Phil that I learned of two other military blogs both written by soldiers deployed to Iraq. I highly recommend checking them out. Sgt. Will Whitley's blog as well as Spc. David MacDonell's blog. They are both well written accounts of life in Iraq. Very good reads.
