Governor George Pataki of New

Governor George Pataki of New York killed the proposed Freedom Center which would have been incorporated into the 9/11 memorial site at Ground Zero. This "freedom center" would have featured a walkthrough showing inspirations of freedom from across the world including China! Naturally there was an outrage over this as well there should be. Michelle Malkin covered the case very well on her blog as did Take Back the Memorial organization, which has been fighting for this for months now. It's good to see the governor standing up for what is right both for the people of New York and the people of the U.S.
