Carnival of the Magnolias VI

Sorry for the delay but we had a shortage on entires this week and I wanted to get in as many as possible. So without further delay I present to you Carnival of the Magnolias VI.

Josh at Multiple Mentality has a look back at the Super Bowl's boobgate and questions society's reasoning behind certain levels of censorship.

The Considerettes points out the medical community's new radical approach to dealing with "cutters." Give them clean blades and bandages and "how-to" advice on cutting themselves "safely." Sometimes I wonder if I'm still on the planet earth or if I've been whisked away off to some sick and twisted Bizzaro world.

The People's Republic of Seabrook gives insight on the Frozen Tundra Hocky Classic, an outdoors hockey game played each year at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This year's event drew in the fourth largest crowd in hockey history and the second largest for a college game.

Carol of the Median Sib offers a fantastic piece on the reaction from the left on the war on terror and how they've disgraced themselves and Americans in general. A great post!

Back over at Multiple Mentality, Yoshi gives an emotion filled and heartfelt post reflecting on the last year since his gastric bypass surgery. Be advised, there is some graphic content in his post.

That does it for this week's Carnival of the Magnolias. The next carnival will be hosted here next Monday. If you're interested in submitting your post have a look at the Carnival Submit Form or email me your submission at southern dot league at gmail dot com by Sunday night at 7 PM ET. Thanks to all who participated and have a great week!
