The good folks at Power

The good folks at Power Line have helped to debunk the theory that Bush's underfunding of New Orlean's Levees was a factor in the destruction. Its amazing to me that the left will try anything and everything to demonize our President. They exploit Sheehan to further their own political agenda and now this. Last I checked, the President could do a lot but controlling mother nature was one thing he had no control over. Looking for someone to blame? Blame the local officials for being so ill prepared as well as the able-bodied citizens in New Orleans (of which there are many remaining) for not heeding mandatory evacuation notices. A terrible tragedy it has been but using it to fuel an anti-Bush fire is just plain sickening...but I expect nothing less from the left.
